Geomancy, the art of Earth divination, explores the Earth's vital energy flow. Every landscape has an 'identity', a consciousness made up of it's elemental life and the energetic features present. Similar to the human body, the Earth functions through different interlacing layers namely the physical, etheric, astral and spiritual. And similar to the human body, we often find imbalances in the energy field of the land, brought about by traumatic events in human history, distorted earth energies, mismanagement of natural resources, dis-respect to the inner life of the Earth and so on. Observations made by geomancers and indigenous people throughout the world indicate that the Earth is transitioning into a new state of Being. The Soul of the Earth is evolving.Karmit helps people who want to deepen their connection to the Earth to define a new relationship to Place, resuming a new stewardship towards Place and recognising it's Sacredness.She does this by teaching tools of perception into the Earth's multidimensional layers.

Our personal healing process is linked to that of our planet. We know this to be true when we develop a relationship with the Living Landscape , when we tap into the experience of the interconnectedness of all life.

Karmit offers shamanic healing sessions that work with the client's energy body to restore it's natural vibrant flow. Gifted in identifying 'undigested' memories, blocks or distortions in the energy field that have become integrated into the sustaining structure of the personality, and in creating a safe space for the healing to unfold. She helps people who wish to be Awake and Present in their life to move through that which blocks them. Bringing movement where there is stagnation. Raw and vulnerable energy that we find when things fall apart, is exactly the one through which we can grow. Personal crisis, be it on a physical or emotional level, can act as a perfect catalyst for a healing process; an Alchemical process through which we can 'mine' that which has been buried, denied and unloved in our life's story, accessing the roots of pain. Unravelling 'knots', letting go of ties that bind. Acknowledging and accepting what is there, leads to the possibility to release the energy associated with the belief or thought pattern that no longer serves us and see matters with ' new eyes'. She currently lives in Andalucia, Spain. "I wanted to be an ecologist. I was ready to set out, equipped with binoculars and maps, on scientific expeditions in aid of the Earth and her ecosystems. So in my early twenties I went to study marine conservation at College of the Atlantic in Maine, but as we sailed off the shores of that magical Mount Desert Island in the schools research boat, I realised I was more interested in listening to the songs of the whales than recording the salinity of the water. So I jumped overboard and started swimming. I did not know which way the shore was and the sea was rough. I was scared. But armed with the courage to observe Me, I dived inwards, inside my own waters. In the depths, I asked about the new direction I was taking. I wanted to get a new job description, to know where I was heading, but the only thing I was given was a clue; a blessed recognition of my hands. Later that year my hands took me into the metal sculpture studio at the school of visual art in New York. They made a small figurine that had an uncanny resemblance to the Venus of Willendorf, I was told, though at the time I had not heard of her or about that primordial force called the Divine Feminine. In those days of blind research, my hands parted the trembling veil for me to have a peek into the invisible realms. So, very curious about these invisible realms, I found teachers who taught me how to sense into them. Feeling the energy between my hands, scanning a person's energy body and tapping into the energy of a place. Intrigued by the fact that invisible structures were so palpable to me, I let my hands become my ears, my eyes and my mouth. Years later, apprenticing within a European shamanic tradition, I also learned how to invite Fire into my Womb, bringing into a more consciouss place my deep relationship with the Great Mother. Within that tradition I went through initiations that awakened my body to become a finely tuned tool through which I can work directly with the unseen aspects of the Natural world for the benefit of human beings and the landscape itself. The Earth, my mother, my sister and lover then whispered in my ear: It's time to get the maps and binolculars and all the other tools you have gathered and be the ecologist you wanted to be. I knew which tools she meant; tools of perception into Her multidimensional layers, the tools of the Shaman who weaves anew the bonds between people and their environment. Reminding them how to communicate with nature and how to tune in to the consciousness of the Living Landscape.That is how I came to take up the sacred job offer to do my part in these times of the Great Transitioning. Restoring the balance of the intricate web of life; healing, educating and celebrating the beauty of this planet. "
